There's plenty to see and do in Kuala Lumpur. The Bukit Bintang area is home to a superb range of shopping and dining options, while nearby, the KLCC development which includes the stunning Petronas Towers is the new heart of the City. Elsewhere, the colonial area of KL is a fascinating mix of architecture and history, and is home to KL's exciting Chinatown.

WHERE TO STAY

The 'Golden Triangle' area of the city is home to some of the best hotels, and transport in this area is made easier with the opening of the monorail network. There's an excellent range of hotels available at superb prices. If shopping is a priority, base yourself in the Bukit Bintang area.

Scheduled flights operate daily to Kuala Lumpur from London Heathrow, with regional departures from around the UK also available with a change of planes en route.
