Central Cienfuegos if fairly compact around Parque Jose Marti, while the road towards Punta Gorda also has some interesting spots - the Palacio de Valle is well worth visiting! Nearby, the Bay of Pigs and the Zapata Peninsula are great locations for birdwatching in Cuba and Scuba diving in Cuba, while Santa Clara is best known as the location of Che Guevara's mausoleum.
