HOME > Campervans
Campervans and motorhomes are a great way to see Australia, giving you more independence and flexibility to discover this wonderful country at your own pace. There is no better way to enjoy freedom and flexibility and experience the stunning scenery of Australia than by motorhome. Stop where you want when you want with pretty much your home and contents right there for your convenience.
A motorhome experience allows you to get up close and personal to
nature and the environment. It’s a great way to meet people including
other travellers or locals. You will also save costs as you will be able to
self-cater in your motorhome with all the modern kitchen facilities. Wake
up each morning with a new view, and experience the great outdoors. The
only way is to go by camper!
Choosing your Campervan
Campervans are designed for 2 to 6 people or take a 4WD Campervan
designed for the Outback. Most are built on a European chassis and
generally come with automatic transmission, making self-drive touring
easy. All campervans come fully equipped with linen, towels, bedding,
kitchen equipment, crockery and so forth. For a small additional cost you
can order picnic tables, chairs and baby seats if needed. All the campervans provide large internal and external storage but to maximise the use of the space we recommend you bring soft shell bags. GPS units are available to help you navigate your route.
Britz has the largest fleet and widest range of campervans available making it the perfect choice for a self-drive adventure in Australia.
Britz extensive fleet of 2, 4 and 6 berth campers and 4WD vehicles will ensure there is a vehicle for all of your needs while on the road. With transport and accommodation all in one, a Britz campervan Holiday gives the freedom and flexibility to discover Australia at a pace that suits you.
Where Can I Camp?
Covering a total area of 7.69 million square kilometres, mainland Australia is the world’s largest island - but smallest continent. With around 50,000 kilometres of spectacular coastline, complete with islands, stunning beaches, fringing reefs and long meandering drives, you’ll find millions of places to explore.
In Australia taking care of the environment is a priority. With camping being a way of life, there are plenty of places to camp and the holiday parks are excellent - safe, secure and comfortable with International-standard facilities. Please enquire about our BIG4 Holiday Parks Voucher Pack.
We’d recommend pre-arranging campsites - powered sites will allow you to recharge your campervan battery, top up your water supplies and empty waste water, use on-site bathroom and laundry facilities, and use the campervan’s air-con unit - an essential aspect of a trip!
Maui motorhomes are part of Australasia’s largest campervan company. Designed for apartment living on the road, maui motorhomes provide you with the room to live with style and comfort.
